Incomplete and Not so Brief Report on Briefs

I haven't done any of the new photo and video lingerie reviews of the full briefs, blouses and babydolls which I had been purchasing. I have a backlog of feminine apparel I could show off and write about. I'm still feeling down and discouraged. No new photos or videos of me male modeling and reviewing ladies panties in this post. Sorry.

There have, however, been plenty of instances of women's underwear in the news and pretty pairs of women's knickers I've seen modeled on the internet that I find worthy of blogging about that numerous but that other blogs have for the most part already covered. Among them:

"Lingerie models steal the show at museum" Reads the headline of ninemsn news. Quoting the article: "One of Paris's most prestigious museums is threatening to sue a lingerie company after three of it's models paraded around the Musee D'Orsay in their bras and underwear." Back on 22 November, 2011 Sadie Whitlelocks did an article in Mail Online titled "Dita Von Teese lingerie line: Queen of burlesque offers sneak peek of debut lingerie line". The article included a photo of Dita modeling a lovely retro stle bra and classic full brief panty set (c) Scope Features. Quoting from that article: "Harking back to the Fifties expect over wire bras, high-waisted briefs and garter belts are accentuated with velvet ribbons, lashings of lace and mesh." The lingerie collection is expected to be available online starting in sometime this coming February, 2012.

I'm always on the lookout for brands and styles of pretty and feminine full coverage panties. I'm lusting after these Wacoal Awareness Briefs. They are a lightweight jacquard in signature awareness calla lily pattern and are intended to sit at the natural waist. They come in Deep Wisteria, Iris Orchid, Magenta, Black, Ivory, and Natural Nude.

The Hanky Panky After Midnight Tulle High Rise Brief has a pretty retro pinup look. It has vertical Chantilly style stretch lace inset panelss and is made of silky sheer stretch tulle with "back ruching for derriere definition".

Many of the brands and styles of full brief panties I lust after are available at HerRoom, Freshpair, BareNecessities, Satin Rose Intimates, and many other retailers in addition to most of the large department stores, plus size lingerie retailers like Hips and Curves, Lane Bryant and more.

I do not mean to diminish the joy shopping for full brief panties at the many smaller lingerie boutiques nor neglect the online Luxury and Designer Lingerie Boutiques like Faire Frou Frou and Bella Bella Boutique

Included in an articleTriumph Lingerie celebrates 125 years of bras with vintage range - Mail Online was a nice photo of some Triumph retro-style full briefs being modeled on the catwalk at Somerset House as part of London Fashion Week.

There was more performer diversity apparent in this wonderful Photo: apeparty.jpg of burlesque troupe in their lingerie from a BUST Magazine article by Bridgette Miller in Femminizzle on Nov 01, 2011 School-Sponsored Stripping: A Look Inside a College Burlesque Troupe The performances by this burlesque troop look indescribably and wonderfully fulfilling and entertaining both to participate in and to watch. I'm envious that I can't be that young again or be a part of it. Alpha Phi Ecdysia's productions look great! Now I wish I'd gone to the New York School of Burlesque myself to be instructed by the fabulous Headmistress Jo Weldon All the photos in this article are GREAT!

In another full brief panty - related note, fairly recently some prudes made a big deal over a mother and daughter modeling lingerie together, trying to say it was incestuous somehow. Looking at the ad which is currently on the homepage of The Lake and Stars lingerie and the photos of their collections, one sees only pretty lingerie modeled by pretty women. Any incest was in only the minds of the talking heads, and, perhaps, in the corporate relationships had by the networks.

Now that retro style full knickers are in vogue I'm discovering more and more gorgeous high waist briefs advertised that I have been lusting after.

The posts I've been so tardy doing will, if I ever do them, be titled "A Briefs Update (Part 3)" and Male Models Maidenform Dreams (Part 2)". One of the reasons I have postponed those posts is that I am feeling very discouraged. The long lost love I haven't seen in over 40 years hasn't spoken to me in over a year and a half and I've felt lacking in incentive to get back into shape. If I ever do the posts they would lkely include some new photos and videos of me male modeling and reviewing ladies full brief panties on YouTube, on this blog and for my Twitpics and Pictures by Panty Buns - Photobucket. A few the brands of lingerie and tops I've purchased but failed to male-model and review are briefs from Bali, Maidenform, ShopNational, Vanity Fair, Warners and WinterSilks and tops from D.H. Styles, Lane Bryant, Macys, J C Penney, and more.

2012 No Pants Subway Ride

Once again I have to apologize for not getting the blog posts done that I had hoped to. They were to include "A Briefs Update (Part 3)", Male Models Maidenform Dreams (Part 2)", which would, naturally, include some new photos and videos of myself male modeling and reviewing ladies full brief panties on YouTube, on this blog and for my Twitpicsand Pictures by Panty Buns - Photobucket. My excuse is that I've been depressed over losing a long lost love - I'm pretty sure she disapproves of my having wanted to become the world's most famous male panty model.

Meanwhile I've managed to miss out on another great opportunity to put my panties on display by failing to participate in any no pants events including the ones held on Sunday, January 8th, 2012.

According to a January 8th Improv Everywhere article the No Pants Subway Ride 2012 New York Reports are starting to come in. There were 4,000 riders riding in their underwear from all over the city and meeting in Union Square. There are also Global Reports from "59 regional No Pants Subway Rides in 27 countries across the world" coming in.

In addition to failing to get the long promised blog post I mentioned above done I've also not posted about the many styles and brands of full brief panties that have been in the news, including retro and pinup style lingerie collections featuring full cut and high waist knickers. I may eventually , and very belatedly, post about some of the gorgeous lingerie that was hot news at one time or another. I really do love lingerie.

The 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Horror Show

I watched the entire "2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" tonight on CBS. It was a big money production with plenty of hoopla, promotion, some pretty backlit photography and plenty of costumes. I love lingerie, especially seeing it worn publicly, and there were probably some pretty outfits to be seen. Unfortunately my worst fears were realized. The visual distractions and the self-promoting hype were both excessive, many of the designs showed horrible taste. That I could have ignored, trying to observe the more pretty lingerie - some of which I managed to notice despite the horrifying and sickening starved look of the models. The best part of the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show were the advertisements for the Grammy Nominations tomorrow night. It seemed like more of a horror and freak show than it did a fashion show.

Thankfully I'd been forewarned by an article in TheGloss.com and remembered the same kind of out-of-touch-eating-disorder-promoting Victoria's Secret lingerie fashion show from last year, when the best looking model there was Katy Perry.

The overly thin models used in the show had spurred some more discussion on the subject of eating disorders. The discussion over the fashion industry's promotion of anorexia and bulimia made the news thanks in part to a confession by a Victoria's Secret model. The Hollywood Reporter did an article titled Victorias Secret Model Adriana Lima Survives Lingerie Show Without Food or Water Quoting the article, written by Elizabeth Snead on 11/10/2011: "The fourth-highest paid supermodel in the world consumes no solid food for 9 days, no water for 12 hours before the annual lingerie fashion show."

There was a video posted on (by) Victoria's Secret's YouTube channel titled "Casting the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show - YouTube", but there was no mention in the video of what criteria they were using to pick their models.

They had also posted a video titled"2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Rehearsals - YouTube".

CBS did air the "2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 29th at 10 PM, and I had been waiting to actually watch the whole show before shooting my mouth off about it.

There was the Victoria's Secret promotion for the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at 10PM/9c November 29th on CBS. Many photos and articles about the show have already been published. Looking up Victoria's Secret panties on their website I found one pair of pink "Fancy Panties" I liked the look of.

The only thing I saw that was eaven close to full brief panties in the briefs category was the page for a High-waist Shaper Brief which had one photo of the Victoria's Secret Confident and Curvy "Hug Me Tight " High-waist Shaper Brief.

CBS News had published an online photo article titled: 12 Secret Signs of Anorexia - CBS News . I wouldn't be surprised if there are some comments on National Eating Disorders Association's Twitter page now that the lingerie show has aired. I myself had previously written a blog post titled Anorexia and Bulimia Claim Lives back in 2010.

There was a cynical look at the Victoria's secret outfits and the promotion of anorexia in TheGloss.com . Quoting Ashley Cardiff who wrote TheGloss.com article: "At this point, it’s pretty obvious that the looks at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show are supposed to be ugly. It’s like one big, weird joke that the brand plays on people: take the world’s most conventionally attractive women, workshop their bodies beyond recognition for weeks with powdered milk and water fasting, and then obscure those bodies with the most comically, outrageously, unapologetically ugly shit on the planet. Here, we try and pick up the pieces from all the absurd outfits worn by Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Chanel Iman, and the rest of the angels. On a more positive note, the Victoria's Secret Lingerie Fashion shows are always an interesting and entertaining production almost to the point of being pretentious. Victoria's Secret is to be commended for contributing to making the public display of models in their underwear widely accepted. The modeling of intimate apparel has moved from the early days of magazine, newspaper, and television ads more than half a century ago to the pageantry of lingerie being modeled and on display worldwide on television, the internet, in videos, and on the Jumbotron in Times Square. I applaud that having undies on public display is now celebrated but really wish that there was more diversity in the modeling and fashion industries as a whole with respect to ethnicity, gender, age, and body type. Much more than that I wish the fashion industry would stop literally killing people by promoting the anorexic/bulimic look. Whatever pretty lingerie might have been there in the show was, for me, overshadowed by the horrified sickening feeling I had seeing the some of the freak-show physiques, and wondering whether the infrequency of rear views on screen might be due to the fact that many of the models didn't have rears to view.

Lady Gaga Wins 4 EMAs , is Nominated for 5 People's Choice Awards

I haven't felt up to male-modeling and reviewing the various brands and styles of ladies full brief panties I've purchased in the last few months, so when Lady Gaga, the Queen of Granny Panties won 4 MTV EMAs and was nominated for 5 People's Choice Awards, for me, it seemed like a no-brainer to do a post about Mother Monster instead. Since the title and name of this blog is "Full Brief Panties", and I'm being lazy, I've embedded Lady Gaga's award winning video (along with gratuitous screenshots of her on stage or on set in her panties). Lady Gaga : News : Lady Gaga Wins 4 EMAs

Mother Monster won Best Female along with Biggest Fans thanks to all her Little Monsters and her Music Video Lady Gaga - Born This Way won both Best Song and Best Video at the MTV 2011 European Music Awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Sunday, November 7th. Lady Gaga "mooned" the audience in her thong bikini panties near the end of her performance of Marry The Night at the awards show. Her fans no doubt loved the bare bottom photo Lady Gaga posted of herself on Twitter and used for the cover of her award winning BORN THIS WAY. Unfortunately, so far, the videos of Lady Gaga performing MarryTheNight have been met with copyright claims, i.e.: The YouTube video embedded by Lady Gaga News in the article Lady Gaga Steals the Show at the 2011 MTV EMAs was removed due to a copyright claim by Viacom International, Inc.. Utah Undie Run 2011

The Utah Undie Run 2011 Protest against Utah being so uptight was held in on Saturday September 24th, 2011 from 5:00 PM through 10:00 PM . The organizers were hoping to and claim they did break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people in their underpants / / knickers / undies / panties / boxers with over 3,000 people running in their undies. They advertised that there would be local and national media there including channels 2, 4, Fox and CNN.

Amy Jade Winehouse, R.I.P. - You Are Missed

Very sadly, Amy Jade Winehouse passed away on July 23rd, 2011. She is and will be very much missed. She had won five grammy awards for her album Back to Black".

As her Goddaughter pointed out, much of what was written about her in the tabloids was untrue.

She is already and will continue to be the subject of many articles and tributes in memoriam from friends, family, fans, fellow musicians and writers around the world.

Though I believe the autopsy is not yet complete, the poor dear did have lung problems.

A Briefs Update, Part 2

I am way behind on what I intended to be a more comprehensive update, and self-modeled photo and video customer review of all the various brands, styles and colours of full briefs I have purchased recently in addition to reporting on full brief panties in the news. Unfortunately the self modeled briefs and reviews of them will have to wait until a later post.

In the way of news I saw an article recently an article recently titled: "SlutWalk London: Hundreds turn out in lingerie for march | Metro.co.uk" but there weren't as many photos of ful briefs as I'd hoped.

In other news, two of my favourite styles of full brief nylon panties which I wear regularly were 2011 UNDIE AWARD WINNERS

HerRoom posted videos for the winners on YouTube.

The 2011 Undie Award Winner: Regular Cut Brief -Vanity Fair 15712 in the video embedded below is one I have male-modeled myself.

I am wearing a pair of these Vanity Fair style 15712 Ravissant full brief nylon panties right now as I'm typing this and in fact bought them at HerRoom. They are so silki soft, comfortable, and feel wonderful against my skin. I wear them to bed at night too and hate to ever take them off.

The rel="nofollow">YouTube - 2011 Undie Award Winner: Overall Panty - Vanity Fair 13001 is also one of my favorite panties. I love these Style 13001 Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau full brief nylon panties and intend to buy more of them from HerRoom. I have male-modeled a pair of these briefs on my own YouTube channel and am perplexed by why two of the videos of me modeling these briefs are still currently flagged as "This content may contain material flagged by YouTube's user community that may be inappropriate for some users" so people have to log in to see them. As everyone can see there is nothing inappropriate here.

Here is a YouTube video of me that was mistakenly (benefit of the doubt) false flagged male-modeling the exact same brand and style of briefs, back view only. It is titled

You can see why I feel it was false-flagged due to my gender.

If you try some of these on I think you will find them comfortable as well. The style 15712 Ravissant briefs have a slightly fuller cut and feel a touch softer than the style 13001 Lace Nouveau briefs do.

I apologize for not getting the reviews done all the other briefs I've purchased recently. There are some I bought by Bali, Warners, briefs from Macy's, some mini-floral briefs from JCPenney and briefs from ShopNational, and I'm thinking of purchasing some briefs via Bare Necessities, Pandoraschoice, Satin Rose Intimates, and others I have discovered via all of you, my fellow fashionistas.

A Briefs Update Part 1

This post is incomplete, but If I wait until I cheer up or gain common sense it will probably never get written. I have both put on weight, and have been quite depressed. Why I am depressed: Because I am a jackass and have apparently managed to get myself abandoned all over again by the love of my life to whom I made a permanent proposal of marriage to 41 years ago. I haven't seen her in 40 years and she hasn't spoken to me in ten months. I don't think she likes me male-modeling full brief panties on my blogs and on my YouTube Channel. Recently I've been stopping by there a lot and listening to the songs on a Playlist titled "Love Forever" on my YouTube channel, wallowing in self-pity, aching and missing her. I thought about writing a post on the subject including how we'd met, the relationship, how and why she'd left, and how all the feelings came rushing back while I was watching the end of Scene 8 in the Movie "Love actually". I started to write a post about it titled "Unrequited Love" or "Love Forever" but then wondered how she would feel if she saw our story on the internet without my having asked her feelings about it first. It's not really on the topic of full brief panties, so I'm wondering: If I ever do write that post should I start a different blog for it?

I started this post, to be titled "A Briefs Update" many months ago.

One of the most frustrating things I have run in to in the course of trying to have an informative blog about full briefs is when lingerie manufacturers eliminate links entirely, either resulting in a not found message or simply returning readers to the manufacturers home page. Many of the links I had included in my post "Male Models Maidenform Dreams" now return readers to the Maidenform Home Page instead of lining to pages of Maidenform's history and the various styles referenced. Now, at the time of this writing, instead of the many detailed pages of Maidenform history that I had linked there is but a single web page referencing "A look at Maidenform OUR HERITAGE throughout the years".
The diminished attention to Maidenform's history on the site seems to be mirrored by a diminished amount of concern for continuing the availability of the vintage looks and classically tailored styles that so many of us had come to love.

Some of the difficulties of writing this post was trying to keep up to date on what colours and sizes of which style and brand of briefs were available and from where. Sometimes when briefs I've posted images of are either not in stock, backordered, discontinued or had a change in style number there may be problems with the links. Sometimes having just a Style numbers colour name won't be enough to locate the desired briefs without having the right SKU number.

For example, both the Style 98PB Sea Foam Green Maidenform Wise Buys Tricot Full Brief panties and the Maidenform Flexees Style 3366_KMR Kimono Red Everyday Control Microfiber and Lace Camisole which I male-modeled in my previous post "Male-Modeling Maidenform Dreams" appear to be currently unavailable.

Maidenform's website currently lists the nylon tricot full brief panty in White, Ivory, and Body Beige, but the colors are not all available online in all sizes. UPDATE: Unfortunately as of the time and date of this post the wonderfully tailored, comfortable and pretty Maidenform "Wise Buys" Tricot Full Briefs there is no price or size availability entered on their online site and the main site link for full briefs only shows them in cotton. ;-( Oops! that changed during the course of writing this. They are now available in ivory in size 5 and size 6 in body beige. I bought some and a blouse to go with them but I''ve gained weight and am not ready to model them at the moment.

At the time of this writing Isaac Sultan & Sons was still showing three packs of Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Ravissant Brief style 15712 nylon panties as available in three-packs in sizes 5 through 12 in Acai Berry, BCP Multi, Blushing Pink, Candleglow, Midnight Black, Muted Lilac, Soft Blue, Star White, and WDB Multi.

All three of the colours of Vanity Fair Ravissant briefs I ordered (Muted Lilac, Soft Blue, and Acai Berry) were on backorder. Isaac Sultan & Sons did wind up sending the pairs in Soft Blue which I had ordered, but apparently cancelled my orders for the other two colours of Ravissant Briefs. ;-(

The one colour of Vanity Fair Style 15712 Ravissant full brief nylon panties that Isaac Sultan did eventually send (Soft Blue) had been but is apparently no longer available from HerRoom. HerRoom had a much faster delivery time back when I had ordered this style of nylon briefs in Blushing Pink (almost as fast as Macy's, Sears, or JC Penney).

At the time of this writing, both the Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Style 15712 Ravissant briefs from HerRoom as well as the Vanity Fair Lace Nouveau Style 13001 full brief nylon panties with lace insets were available in sizes 5 - 12 in Star White, Candleglow, Blushing Pink, and Midnight Black.

Isaac Sulltan & Sons had been showing three-packs of the Style 13001 Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Lace Nouveau Nylon Brief panties, sizes 5 - 12, in Azure Mist, Candleglow, Fawn, Midnight Black, Star White and Sugarberry.

At that time Macy's was listing Vanity Fair Brief, Perfectly Yours Lace Nouveau Nylon Style 13001 in the colour "Sugar Berry" in sizes 7 and 8 in addition to Candleglow in 5, 6 and 8, and Fawn, Midnight Black and Star White in 5, 6, 7 and 8. (larger sizes were a different style number). i was lucky enough to get 3 pairs in the colour Sugar Berry ( wine red) from Macy's.

I did take and upload a brief video of myself male-modeling these briefs. It's titled:

At the time of this writing the video had just over 100 views, no "likes" (thumbs up) and one "dislike" (thumbs down. Not only that, but two of my videos got "False Flagged" as "may contain material flagged by YouTube's user community that may be inappropriate for some users"

Impov Everywhere's No Pants Subway Ride 2011 took place January 9th. According to Improv Everywhere's Charlie Todd, "over 5,000 people took off their pants in subways in 48 cities in 22 countries around the world." . Since I took the screenshot below, the video has had another 230,000 views (1,401,570 views as of when I typed this).

I am thrille National Underwear Day in Brazil, but Metro.co.uk did one with 10 photos. There were numerous other posts with pics including at The Lingerie Post

The first Friday in May, Friday, May 6th, 2011, was No Pants Day. So far I only found one video on YouTube - No Pants Day . It was uploaded by WhyParty Today and was of Elizabethany (O-Air radio personality and blogger) bravely taking to the streets and the office after taking her pants off and hopping down the highway in her panties!

The underwear as outerwear trend has continued as reported in the IndependentWoman.ie article titled: "An Overview of Underwear" by Hilary Alexander. Dolce & Gabana paired black jackets and retro lace knickers at their AW2010 show and the trend seems to be getting even more popular by the day.

It may take a while before I get back into better shape and get around to male-modeling and reviewing several different brands and colours of full briefs I purchased recently, especially if I keep wallowing in self-pity and sniveling about the long lost love of my life whom I've not seen in 40 years who may not want to see me again.

   Thank you to Fashion blogger Jasna, a.k.a.    Two blogs by bloggers with their own very romantic story to tell are The Femme Next Door, a blog by lesbian lingerie designer Rebecca Szymczak who recently got engaged to Anne Neczypor, a Super-Hero who writes the blog "Pretty Witty And... The life and times of one lesbian in New York City". The incredibly romantic surprise proposal and acceptance were written about by Rebecca in a post titled: "You can't always plan EVERYTHING..." and in a post by Anne about the proposal, acceptance and subsequent trip to Paris titled "Parisian Games".    I had been getting concerned about not having heard or read anything from wedding and portrait photographer and fellow blogger Leah Taas for some time. She hadn't written a post since August 7th, but now she's back! I'm so relieved! Back on August 2nd i had written a post titled: "Anorexia and Bulimia Claim Lives" and I think the video Laura posted has a positive message to add to the subject. CBS later did a news story about officials from the British government planning to meet with advertisers, fashion editors and health experts. I should follow up to find out what progress has been made.

Treacle, who writes The Lingerie Addict | Lingerie & Stockings Blog is much more than just a student and aficionado of lingerie. In addition to acquiring knowledge and expertise Treacle has posed for some incredibly hot pinup photos. i was lucky enough to obtain permission to post one of them here on my blog in a previous post, "Lingerie Addict Update". There is another beautiful pinup photo of Treacle featured in her post titled: "Welcome Facebook Pin-Ups Page Visitors!".    I realize this is not within the parameters of what I normally blog about. This is only a quickie off-topic interim post while I continue to procrastinate over completing the posts I'd previously promised, namely a post expressing appreciation to my commenters and followers and a Briefs Update post.

The YouTube video Borgstom: "Julian Assange kicks kittens!" is only a small hint of the truths people don't know about Claes Borgstrom, Thomas Bodstrom, Marrianne Ny et al. and the attempts to silence those who would uncover more truths about responsibility for extraordinary renditions and torture. I see Karl Rove's hand in this. It is already known Rove was involved in the reelection campaign of the Swedish Prime Minister in addition to having been "Bush's brain".

Prudes Get Panties In A Bunch Over Diesel Underwear Photoshoot

Before I get too far into this post I just wanted to apologize again for not having done that post thanking my commenters and followers with a few notes on your blogs. I tend to get a bit bogged down agonizing over whether I should include photos from your blogs or profiles or just links and have been too lazy to get it totally together. I've written a bunch but it's disorganized. I'm also planning to do a post titled "Briefs Update" on some of the new colours of I've tried to buy and or was unable to buy and possibly including a new blouse or two. In the meantime I thought I'd post this tempest-in-a-teapot thats been in the news alot lately since it involves my favorite subject - panties!

   There has been alot of hoopla recently with prudes up in arms and the tabloids getting a juicy subject as a lingerie company, Diesel underwear, rented a Brooklyn Law School library as the set for it's lingerie photoshoot and the dean of the law school apparently felt embarrassed about it afterwards claiming to not realize the nature of the photos for Diesel's advertising.

   MSN NZ reports "Law school angry over library photo shoot" after Diesel took "photographs of men and women in skimpy lingerie in racy poses alongside books and computers". Daily Mail had an online article with more photos of the models in Diesel Brand underwear posing in a Brooklyn, NY law school library as did shareordie.in which titled an article full of the photos: "Advertisement Photos of Diesel Be Stupid". In fact there were a whole slew of articles that included photos like this one:



   The photos were posted everywhere in the tabloids, where in typical tabloid fashion there was feigned outrage while making sure to publish the sexy photos.
   The only really controversial part was that the Dean of the Law School which had rented out the space had his panties in a bunch about it after the fact, claiming the law school didn't realize the nature of the photoshoot. Just how detached from reality are all these people who claim to be offended and where do they get off railing against free speech, free press, and photos or videos of the lingerie shoot being published?
   There have been far sexier and more provocative lingerie ads in the past by other companies like Agent Provocateur, plenty of public print lingerie ads by Maidenform for decades, Underwear modeled publicly by Trashy Brand Lingerie models, Victoria's Secret models on television and on the Jumbo-Tron in Times Square, The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, The No Pants Subway Ride, The Jamaica Underwear Run in Central Park, NYC, several other public, and countless other events where people showed up in their panties. Appearing in public in panties has really come into vogue ever since Lady Gaga burst onto the scene seeming to appear almost everywhere out in public in her panties, including at the airport, doing screeners a favor. There were plenty of panty-clad people out protesting the TSA's policies of either seeing everyone virtually naked or else groping them to the point of it becoming a sexual assault or abuse. It seems to me that if officials are going to condone forcing people to be seen in their underwear (or less) then voluntarily being out in public should be perfectly acceptable, and in fact it has become so. Models are regularly featured in their underwear on the covers of fashion magazines and the lingerie manufacturers and retailers post videos of their lingerie being modeled in YouTube video as do their customers. Even I have posted videos of myself male modeling different full brief panties on YouTube (Mister Panty Buns's Channel) and have posted photos like this one of myself male modeling ladies panties before:





   The New York Post also posted their report (with photos) on their YouTube channel in a video titled "Troublesome Underwear - New York Post".
   I just couldn't resist making a comment on their video and on all the articles in general.

   So What's the story with why the episode of Sesame Street with Katy Perry was cancelled? Reportedly it was because of negative feedback they received, but the negative feedback wasn't disclosed leaving us to speculate:

   Oh, no! It's an attractive woman with breasts singing and dancing! Eek!

   There seems to be no limit to what these prudes will try to censor, whether it's me or Katy Perry. What if someone's ankle shows (gasp!). Apparently someone thought there was too much cleavage (under the fine mesh of her outfit) or that she seemed too sexy. Why do PBS, Google, Apple, Youtube, Facebook and Flickr knuckle under to the hypocritical manufactured pressure from fundamentalists, ideologues, theocrats and their techno-spamming hate?

   Was the negative feedback related to previous big hit by Katy Perry - I Kissed a Girl?

   One wonders whether they might have had horrible headaches at Sesame Street trying to decide whether they should have hired a transvestite to avoid having cleavage or conversely since Katy Perry was asking Elmo whether he wanted to play "Dress Up" may have worried that people who have Transphobia might be perturbed. Many bigots harbour intense hatred and loathing for trans-gendered, transsexuals, transvestites, cross-dressers etc..

   Speaking of hypocrisy, Someone at the Mercury News pointed out that Elmo wasn't wearing any pants!

   Maybe the top executives were afraid someone would catch them ogling Katy Perry's breasts. Theocratic Senatorial candidate Christine O'Donnell who is very much anti-sex shows more cleavage than Katy Perry did in the Sesame Street video that got pulled.

   Look out Miss Piggy, Katie might want to play with Kermit! What's the deal here? The song and the skit are adorable. Who will be censored next? Snow White? Alice in Wonderland?

   It was excellent timing that Katy Perry appeared on Saturday Night Live soon after the censorship had reared it's ugly head at PBS. Katy performed "Teenage Dream" on Saturday Night Live Sept. 25, 2010. Katy and her back-up singers wore outfits that looked a bit like school uniforms. The hemlines of the tiered red skirts were high enough to reveal the black panties underneath to be frequently visible during the performance.
   Not only are panty-revealing outfits very much in vogue, but the song but the lyrics fro the refrain of chorus "Don't ever look back, Don't ever look back" gave me a feel-good feeling as well.



   Thankfully for the most part the fashionistas, GLBT and feminist communities have rejected censorship. That doesn't mean there aren't right wing-nuts posing as feminists who want to censor everything. For them I would suggest that they think about the hard struggle for equal rights and privileges for women and how censoring people based on gender is not feminist at all.

   Maybe it's the fact that i have found myself on the receiving end of censorship that i am so sensitive to it.

   You Tube has aided and abetted the "YouTube's user community" in the perpetration of sex discrimination and the committing of defamation by allowing the video titled: PICT_Male-Models-Vanity-Fair-Rose-Pink-Full-Brief-Panties-2.AVI: video to be FALSE-FLAGGED and failing to un-flag it after this wrongful flagging was brought to their attention.

   The continuing libel accompanying the demand for people to have an account and sign in to see this video appears when someone clicks on the video and states:

   "This video or group may contain content that is inappropriate for some users, as flagged by YouTube's user community."

   Here is the TRANSCRIPT from the flagged video is titled: PICT_Male-Models-Vanity-Fair-Rose-Pink-Full-Brief-Panties-2.AVI:

   "The ladies full brief nylon panties that I'm wearing right now are Vanity Fair's Memoir Rose Style 13001 Lace Nouveau full brief nylon panties.    YouTube and Google are noticed and are fully aware that this video was flagged SOLEY because of my gender. If I had been female this video would not be flagged.

   Failure to un-flag this video would be affirmatively negligent and evidence of intent to knowingly continue the defamation motivated by sex discrimination - a hate crime.

   If YouTube were to try tto defend this false flagging it would fly in the face of President and CEO Eric Schmidt's recent claims at his interview with the Wall Street Journal that he opposes censorship and would by implication make him out to be a liar.

   It would also bolster the credibility of the French Court in Paris that recently convicted Google and it's chief executive, Eric Schmidt, of defamation.

   Perhaps the entire construct of how access and control of the internet is being co-opted and controlled, by whom, and the premises of the basic setups should be re-examined. I believe the internet should be for adults,that unfiltered searching should be the default setting, and that if people want to control what they or their children can view then they should be the ones bearing the burden of installing filtering programs like Cyber-Nanny or programs that censor stuff for THEIR OWN viewing only, not for everyone else's. I myself have no interest whatsoever in viewing or being viewed by people who are not adults and greatly resent it whenever I feel that my viewing or being viewed is being limited by narrow minded selfish bigots who place their agenda or avaricious desires above the Constitution of the United States and its Amendments, the Bill of Rights.

   Let the un-american prudes who advocate censorship be the ones who have to accept cookies, as in WARNING: PRUDE. Let the advocates of freedom have the more secure cookie free safe from virus setups. Let the right wing-nuts, theocrats and prudes be relegated to the limited niche of hackery, censorship, deceit, lies, history re-writing and prejudice that is their comfort zone - all in their own little bubble.

   There is no reason the rest of the world should have to abide by their prejudices.

Another Apology, Undie Parties, Future Post, Brief Question

     Sorry about falling so far behind on my blog posts.

   Hopefully my next post will be to say a more proper thank you to my followers and to those of you who have commented regularly and made the comments i love. I'd been putting it off with the excuse of wondering whether i should ask about using photos and include some or highlight posts i've liked. or should i just keep it simple like this post so i have less of an excuse for not getting it done?

   Until i get it together for that post I'll just note how much i'm missing and ask another additional questions:

   Which kind of undies do you prefer see other people modeling: bikinis, boxers, boxer-briefs, full cut briefs, hipsters, jock straps, tighty-whitey briefs, cotton, nylon, silk, etc.? (obviously i like the full brief panties i male-model myself the most)

Apparently i haven't been paying close enough attention to upcoming lingerie events either. Drat! i missed out on being among the large group of people stripping down to their underwear in SoHo today (see CBS article's photo - people showing off their panties in public) in order to be eligible for a free Desigual outfit for the 1st 100 people in line in their underwear. According to the online article by CBS News, "If you're brave enough to stand around in your underwear in Midtown, where you'll probably get gawked at by commuters, Desigual will probably hold another Undie Party at their Herald Square location on September 28. If i'd been paying attention maybe i would have noticed it in articles in blogs like Fashion News at Signature 9 or in this article at NY Mag's "The Cut" two days ago, this one in the Barcilona Reporter. The first one got some prime-time coverage in addition to the blogs about the people out in their underwear with photos and accounts like this one in "Racked NY". Videos of the Undie Party pre-entrance and the countdown to the Desigual store entrance in undies have been uploaded to YouTube, of course.

Rumors Madonna Wants To Tour With Lady Gaga

Just a quick post. Sorry i haven't done the other posts i mentioned previously yet.

This morning, Sunday, August 29th at 10:30 AM, there was an article by Hortense Smith of Jezebel titled: "Madonna Wants To Tour With Lady Gaga". The Jezebel article cited a News Of The World article which had the headline "Madonna going Gaga for a Lady".

Just thinking of Madonna and Lady Gaga touring together makes me swoon. Lady Gaga, Pink, and Madonna are my full brief pantied heroes and help me get up the nerve to post the videos of myself male-modeling briefs on my YouTube channel (misterpantybuns). i would love to see that kiss that almost occurred between Lady Gaga and Madonna on Saturday Night Live completed passionately over and over again. In my opinion they could make beautiful music together in more ways than one. Maybe it is only a fantasy, but they do have much in common, are both smart business people, and i believe they have both spent time out in the Hamptons. If they got together privately then who knows what could result? (other than a paparazzi's dream and a total media frenzy unless they managed to keep it secret somehow). As Judy Tenuta is famous for saying: "It could happen!". What a fantasy.

Anorexia and Bulimia Claim Lives

First, before i launch into the heart of this post, let me share my deep and heartfelt concern for fellow fashion blogger Laura Budd of A Daisy Chain Dream. It has been over Nine weeks now since she was admitted to the hospital and i can only hope and pray that she makes a full recovery. She did manage one quick post titled 6 weeks back on July 8th, 2010. Please get well soon and don't feel you need to respond to everybody. Please take care of yourself. You are very much worth it. We miss you but your own health should come first.

The pressure on young women to be unnaturally thin in order to get jobs in fashion, modeling and acting needs to be brought to a screeching halt. In my opinion anyone who is less than a size 2 and is taller than 5' 0" tall is way, way too skinny. Many (addled) designers have mindlessly promoted and glorified the anorexic look, following each other, first like sheep and continuing on like mindless drunk lemmings, devoid of true independent thought, awareness and cognizance for the decades since "Twiggy" first made a splash in the fashion world.

It's time for it to end! There are people literally dying of anorexia and bulimia because they tried so hard to achieve this very warped image of beauty. I think that fad has lingered long enough. It's time we pulled designers away from their expensive wine bottles long enough to have them notice their surroundings.

Despite the relatively recent media spotlight on Ralph Lauren's proclivity to present dangerously thin models, it was evident to me that he was still doing it from watching the Ralph Lauren Collection Runway Show on his website. Three and years after Anorexia claimed the lives of Uruguayan model Luisel Remos and Brazilian model Anna Reston very little had changed. There was an article written by E. J. Mundell for the Washington Post's February 2nd, 2001 HealthDay News titled "Furor Over Anorexic Models Hits U.S.Fashion Week" about the practice of using dangerously thin models back then. Although the Council of Fashion Designers of America, a trade organization of over 300 fashion and accessory designers headed by Dianne Von Furstenburg made some recommendations which seemed to have been more of a "C.Y.O.A." public relations move than anything else and more recently seem to have disappeared from prominent public view. The second to last paragraph of the "CFDA_Health_Initiative" stated in part "The CFD Health Initiative is about awareness and education, not policing. Therefore the committee does not recommend that models get a doctor's examination to assess their health or body mass index to be permitted to work."At the same time the bizarre notion of anorexia being beautiful is still being aggressively promoted by CFDA members. Personally. Victoria's secret often uses models who's legs are too skinny to fill the leg holes of their panties and they seem to have hardly have any buttocks at all.

   I think it would have been a good thing if the lawsuit filed by Filippa Palmistierna-Hamilton had caused the media to take a much harder look not only at how they portray beauty, but at how hard they are pushing for an unhealthy image. For every model with anorexia who dies how many tens of thousands of ordinary women die trying to emulate them? How many more young women hoping to become models or actresses will have to die from Anorexia and Bulimia before the C.F.D.A. ceases and desists from promoting that anorexic look? Thousands? Tens of thousands? Kudos to Lane Bryant and shame on ABC and FOX. This

It will be nice if the C.F.D.A. catches on to the fact that full figured women can be very attractive. At least Lane Bryant is paying attention and had their first annual Lane Bryant Blogger Conference. I know there are fashion magazines that have pledged to use more realistic models and they are to be commended.

The Consequences of Anorexia/Bulimia are no joke. According to this Bulimia Awareness Video by Brita Chen and Jennifer Guenther there are an estimated 8 million people suffering from Bulimia - one out of 181 people in the United States.

Hopefully (fingers crossed) we are seeing the beginning of the end of the emaciated look and the return to more classical ideas of how the body should look. It's a wonderful start to the decade. If the designers all catch on to the new trend (away from the unhealthy worn out former "Twiggy" look) we'll be seeing the lingerie modeled back view by fuller figured and more diverse models far more often.

Lady Gaga And Fame In Panties

Naturally when looking for News about Lady Gaga i checked the official Lady Gaga : News web-page posted by HAUSOFGAGA on July 9th, 2010. Following a short paragraph (with photo) of Lady Gaga at Rockefeller Plaza where 25,000 of her "Little Monsters" had gathered to watch her perform live and in person on The Today Show, it appeared there were some videos, but i guess my browser settings weren't right.

As i am still writing this i checked Lady Gaga : News : New Tweet From @ladygaga. Lady Gaga's Tweet: 25,000 LILMONSTERS GATHERED WITH THEIR CLOUD=RAIN MAKING THE PERFORMANCE OF A MISFITS LIFETIME: Lady Gaga Teeth Live On The Today Show.

While browsing the results of Google searches for news on Lady Gaga and visiting some of those sites, naturally i stopped by the Today Show site where there were both an article the title of which began: "Lady Gaga draws 20,000 to Rockefeller Plaza -" and a 43 photo slideshow titled "Photos: Fashion gone Gaga".

i enjoyed re-visiting a past People.com 18 photo slideshow of Lady Gaga titled "LOOK MA, NO PANTS!" published Nov. 24th, 2009 in "Best of 2009 | Lady Gaga: The Years Most Daring Fashionista. There were some great photos in it.

E! Online had an article by Ella Ngo titled: "Lady Gaga Kills It in Rainy Rockefeller Plaza".

Amongst other Lady Gaga news, reports and blogs, i came across a number of MTV News articles. i enjoyed visiting MTV's Artist Page for Lady Gaga recently and reading the brief two paragraph "".

On July 9th, 2010 MTV News published an article written by Jocelyn Vena titled: "Lady Gaga Writhes In The Rain For 'Today' Show". There was also an
MTV News article by Nuzhat Naorheen with additional reporrting by Kimberly Reynolds titled "Lady Gaga Fans Camp Out For Days for 'Tody' Performance". Two days earlier, on July 7th, MTV News had an article by Maura Johnston titled "Lady Gaga Plays Triumphant Homecoming Show At Madison Square Garden" and the day before that there was an article by Kyle Anderson of MTV News titled "".

A lot of news outlets and blogs reported on Lady Gaga having become
the most popular living person on Facebook including Jezebel which ran a paragraph by Irin Carmon titled "Lady Gaga Beats Obama In The Battle Of Facebook Fans"

Visiting the Lady Gaga Official YouTube Channel and the YouTube LadyGagaVEVO channel, both which i subscribed to via my YouTube channel (misterpantybuns), i noted she has has over 127,000,000 upload views and around 38,000,000 channel views on the Lady Gaga Official YouTube Channel, and over 800,000,000 views on her Lady GagaVEVO YouTube channel. So what's the big surprise about her having the most Facebook fans with over 11,000,000? Were you surprised? i wasn't surprised at all.

Lady Gaga does have a knack for attracting attention and causing controversy, sometimes in ways that remind me of Madonna and sometimes in ways that seem to shock the press despite their knowing how she craves attention and fame. In a previous post i mentioned how the paparazzi went nuts when she made an appearance behind home plate at a baseball game (it was a Mets Game at Citi Field) wearing a bra and panty set that looked similar to the ones she she wore in her music video Telephone which also starred Beyonce. The distraction had roved to much and the Mets had her moved to Jerry Seinfeld's private box seats without his permission. She was reportedly pissed at the paparazzi's having gone overboard and causing her to have to be moved and flipped them one fingered salutes, first with one hand and then with both.

It was not long after that when Lady Gaga made news again by showing up at a Yankees baseball game, again without pants and wearing a Yankee pinstripe jersey with her black bra, panties and fishnets showing. The jersey was unbuttoned at the top and tied in a knot near the bottom, allowing the paparazzi to put their telephoto lenses to good use. The Huffington Post published the photos in post titled: "Lady Gaga Drinks Beer In Her Underwear At Yankees Game (PHOTOS)". The photos were also published at Cele|bitchy.

Among the many articles and blog posts with photos had been one at Jezebel titled: "Lady Gaga Throws Fit, Flips Bird At Mets Game". The tabloids like the Daily Mail's Mail Online had jumped in with both feet with an article titled "Batty Lady Gaga wears studded bra and knickers to the baseball". and describing the way she dressed as inappropriate while eagerly publishing a number of photos of her supposedly inappropriate attire in an article titled "Lady Gaga stands out from the crowd at sister's graduation".

The Hollywood Gossip quoted Lady Gaga as saying "A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush. I bleed for my hometown, and I'd die for my fans." and "I guess I'm just a Bronx cheer kind of girl." The article at Gossipcenter.com which included photos, was titled: "Lady Gaga Defends Her Baseball Cheering Methods".

Gossipcenter.com also, naturally, also did a post titled "Lady Gaga's Wet'n Wild "Today" Show Performance".

Rant Against Headlines Slurring Women and Prom Dresses (continued)

This post is a follow-up to my previous post about slurs in headlines calling women and their prom dresses trashy, slutty, and trampy There is a blatant double standard when it comes to the behavior of men versus women as Jessica Valenti , the Editor of Feministing.com and author pointed out right on the cover of her book entitled: " HE'S A STUD, SHE'S A SLUT and 49 Other Double Standards Every Woman Should Know". These double standards are often applied in very inconsistent ways. While pundits, columnists and reporters have referred of late to women and their fashions being "Trashy", "Slutty", "Cheap", and "Trampy", it seems they trip all over themselves trying to get and publish photographs of the women and their outfits. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HEARD A MALE REFERRED TO IN THE PRESS AS "TRASHY", "SLUTTY", OR "TRAMPY" ? A similar inconsistency seems to have occurred with me. Although some men seem to feel threatened or angered by my male modeling of ladies full brief panties and I may have received an insult here or there, I've never been called any of those things. So far, nobody has been tripping over each other to put my photos on their front pages either even though I posted photos of myself in my full brief panties. NOW I HAVE STARTED A NEW BLOG WITH PHOTO GALLERY entitled: Full Brief Panties Male Modeled with plenty of my photos (back view). Let's see if they call me "trashy, "slutty", "trampy" or trip over each other to put my photos on their front pages. I doubt they will. Sexism, like racism, still needs working on.

New York Post's Slurs Against Women Mindlessly Repeated

   In an article entitled: Girls flock to trampy prom dresses Annie Karni of the New York Post used the words "stripper" "slutty" "shocking" to describe the current fashions. These slurs came to my attention reading an article by Erin Donnely in StyleList entitled
Prom Dress Trend for 2010 is 'Slutty Chic' citing the New York Post article. I responded irately with the following comment:
   "Since when do we follow Newscorp's slurs, i.e.: "slutty" to denigrate womens' desires to be in style a la Lady Gaga? The New York Post is owned by Newscorp, headed by the same right wingers who would have all women be back in the kitchen baking cookies, covered up head to foot and acting as servants to their male masters."
   Shortly thereafter I noted that Jezebel had run an article entitled: Trashy Prom Dresses Remain Flash Point In Ongoing Intergenerational War With my emotions still inflamed from the other two articles and having barely gotten past the headline, I fired this email off to the articles author, jenna@jezebel.com

   It irks me that anyone would follow the lead of the New York Post in calling women or their attire "slutty". The New York Post is owned by Newscorp, well known for its right wing promulgation of the sexist anti-woman mindset which would have all women be barefoot, pregnant, in the kitchen, covered head to toe when in public, and subservient to their male masters. It is no surprise that the prudish right wing would be aghast at the idea of women following the latest fashion trends a la Lady Gaga.

The Vintage Kayser Full Brief and Other Panty Photos "Sarah" Found Creepy

This photo of me was featured on the blog "Something Awful" on December 28, 2009 as the "Awful Link of the Day - Sissy Panty Buns (Thanks Sarah!)" , and references a link to my "gallery filled with photos of an old dude wearing assorted sheer panties". In the photo I'm seen male modeling a pair of vintage lace trimmed Kayser red full brief nylon panties and a Hanky Panky black lace babydoll. As you can see, vintage Kayser panties are relatively opaque for a full brief panty. Believe it or not this particular pair of ladies nylon panties is a size four. They were quite tight on me, needless to say, and I doubt I could have gotten them on except for the well tailored generous cut of Kayser full briefs. As you can also see, this pair of ladies panties has a generous cotton gusset with the curved rear seam that was typical of the vintage panties of decades gone by.

According to the "Something Awful blog post,"Sarah" finds the photo of me with my 'caught in ladies panties' look to be "totally creepy", "but that works, because Panty Buns invites women to insult him". Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, Sarah never bothered to leave a comment on either of my blogs. Back to the women's undies in the photo below. Kayser made very comfortable "granny panties". It's a shame that they apparently went out of business as their pattern and sewing were good and somewhat similar to the cut and fit of today's Maidenform "Wise Buys" full brief panties (shown here in Sea Foam Green, male modeled, back view).

I do prefer the fabrics of Vanity Fair's Lace Nouveau and Ravissant Briefs. The panty fabric I miss the most however, is the silky soft relatively sheer Dupont Diaphanique. If only someone made panties of Dupont Diaphanique with lace insets and ruffly lace trim using a Maidenform pattern in the more vibrant but feminine pinks, lilacs, and yellows of old. Until they do, the Memoir Rose pair of Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Style Lace Nouveau full brief panties I'm shown male-modeling below will probably continue to be my favorite pair of ladies full brief nylon panties.

In the year 2008 more than 15,000 people cast their votes and Vanity Fair swept the boards in the overall favorite categories. In the favorite bottom category, the surprise winner was the Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Style 15712 Full Brief Panty . The upside of the fabric currently used to make these panties is it's fantastic silky softness. These panties feel so comfortable and soft against your skin you too will never want to take them off. Just in case you were wondering, I don't wear the particular blouses to bed. T-shirts are comfy but I prefer a soft nylon babydoll like the one shown in the last two photos. I'm having trouble finding nice ultra-feminine cap sleeve ruffled nylon babydolls and babydoll tops. I love frills ruffles and lace. Lady Gaga Performs With Elton John at 52nd Grammy Awards Show

The 52nd Grammy Awards which aired on CBS on January 31st, 2010 started off with an incredible performance. A song and dance number began in front of an elaborate set labeled The Fame Factory. The "Fame Factory "owner dragged a Gaga look-alike across the floor during the start of the dance number. Lady Gaga rose up amidst the belching puffs of steam while standing on a small elevator platform and started singing her song "Pokerface"(beautifully). She descended the stairs into the midst of the floor show. Near the end of the song she got dragged off by the Fame Factory owner, up some stairs and dropped into a flame-belching "rejected" funnel. Shortly thereafter two large doors opened to reveal Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John both singed, sooty, and sitting at pianos facing each other. It was clear that they had spent a fair amount of time practicing each other's songs together. Unfortunately the YouTube Video of the performance I had originally embedded is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Grammys, but there is another video of the performance with Lady Gaga performing first "Pokerface" solo and then "Speechless" and finally "Your Song" with Sir Elton John where embedding has been disabled by request, but the quality is good. That video is also up or available at Lady Gaga's website. The 2010 Grammy Awards show was a real winner. There were great performances by Beyonce in what appeared to be Kevlar panties, and a phenomenal acrobatic aerial performance by Pink while singing beautifully live and being drenched by a torrent of water. There were plenty of other great performers too. Naturally I thought Lady Gaga should have won and that Pink should have gotten an award for her song "Sober". The 52nd Grammy Award Show was a memorable one.

How could I have not known about the No Pants Subway Ride until I saw it on the television evening news on January 10th 2010? After having seen Ida Siegel of NBC television interviewing a woman as she stood there in her pretty pink panties on a New York City subway, naturally I did a few Google searches and then read in in Wikipedia about No Pants Day and the Annual No Pants Subway Ride being totally separate events. Before I could write a post or attempt to take a crude video of the television set when the story came back on that night Improv Everywhere's No Pants 2010 Reports were already coming into their blog at a good clip. There were participants, observers and news media already posting photographs and videos online. I was delighted to find out later that the the same Pants Off On the Subway was posted on line with embedding enabled:

Then I read on the Lady Gaga News Feed that Lady Gaga will perform at the 52nd Grammy Awards on January 31st on CBS, and that Lady Gaga is up for 5 Grammys, and just had to. Entertainer of the Decade and Panty Fashion Icon Extraordinaire

As a new year approaches and the decade draws to a conclusion, there will be much talk about who the top (fill in the blank with any subject) is. After viewing some snarky articles about Lady Gaga and some not so much, I felt I just had to get my two cents in. There is no question in my mind that Lady Gaga is the entertainer of the decade. That she is MTV News' Woman of the Year is great, but it doesn't go far enough. Her voice, her music, her outspoken advocacy for minority rights, her lyrics, her messages, her wild fashions, and yes, her panties, have all captivated me. In her latest music video alone, Bad Romance , Lady Gaga appears in more lingerie fashions and different styles of panties than almost all other stars combined. She has helped bring wearing underwear as outerwear into vogue, which, combined with her talent, in my opinion, has helped make her the entertainer of the decade. Who else could have brought discussions of various panty styles so much to the fore? Who else was ready to step forward with such bold and provocative displays of wild fashion in their panties (and make them all look so good) and at the same time floor us with her music, lyrics and voice? Who else rises to the level of a being a phenomenon in entertainment? My blog was originally intended to review the styles, fabrics, fit, comfort, and feel of various styles of ladies full brief panties and help with photographs to illustrate how they look modeled, and I will hopefully continue to add more full brief panty reviews in the coming New Year, but for the moment have to continue to digress slightly. After reading some of the disparaging remarks about Lady Gaga in a major publication by a person whom I won't go so far as to dignify by mentioning their name, it seems more important to me to recognize Lady Gaga here and now before the decade ends. I feel grateful for her stands against gender bias and bigotry, for her having brought public panty wearing to the fore, and for her wonderful music and captivating music videos. Thank you Lady Gaga! Not long after Lady Gaga first came to my attention I was very much taken aback by the extent to which she was initially savaged and ruthlessly criticized in the press and on the internet. The Hollywood Gossip ran a story criticizing her for her supposedly shocking performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. They ran a piece claiming that Lady Gaga's VMA performance offended pretty much everybody . The first thing that caught my attention when I looked to see what all the fuss was about, was that Lady Gaga's voice and singing are phenomenal. She has the voice of an operatic angel. I quickly learned that Lady Gaga had won big at the MTV Video Music awards, winning Best New Artist, Best Art Direction (Paparrazzi) and Best Special Effects (paparazzi). I saw the performance it on her official site at . Most of the criticism of the official music video "Paparazzi" seemed to miss the main themes of the video, which centered on the love/hate relationship between stars seeking fame and the danger of the way stars are treated by the paparazzi. It is a valid point which has not been adequately dealt with to this day. How soon the tragic death of Lady Diana seems to be brushed aside by these money hungry photographers. They stalk, invade privacy, and even break the arms of stars with their bulky cameras trying to get in too close.
Another ridiculous rumor that was circulating for a while (maybe it still is) is that Lady Gaga was actually not a woman. If one checks out the multitude of photos of Lady Gaga in her knickers it becomes obvious that she is all woman. One can easily see how different a male looks like in panties even from the rear by looking at the photos I posted of myself (for adult women only) in my ladies_full_briefs-male_modeled-back_view . I am so thankful that Lady Gaga made public panty wearing fashionable. Her entire cast was wearing panties in an absolutely fantastic MVA performance. I am so glad she posted it on line. It is about time a mature women with that kind of talent get the amount of recognition and respect commensurate with their talent from both the public and the paparazzi. That Music Video Award performance was incredibly artful and entertaining. Not only was I definitely not offended, I feel I have become a fan, and checked out Lady_Gaga_on_MySpace as well.

Sexting is one fad that has really caught on. So many trends start with younger people before the old fogies get with it. Sexting is something that older people should learn to participate in. It should common practice for adults. If all the old prudes that are making a mess of the world started providing entertainment instead of padding the law books with societal restrictions maybe the lawmakers could spend less time being pompous and spend more time with things that really matter. How about putting an end to all the wars and conflicts of interest? How about putting an end to legalized usury by the credit card companies? How about working on feeding the hungry instead of making bombs to destroy instead of build? Maybe if all the politicians were involved in sexting they wouldn't act so righteous while the people are unemployed. Put them all on YouTube in panties. At least we'll get entertainment and maybe some good laughs.

There have been a lot of publications that have engaged in spreading untruths, baseless speculation, gossip and published mean-spirited spirited comments about MacKenzie Phillips lately. I feel this is not right. MacKenzie Phillips is sincere and trying her best to become a better person, to confront her own past and psychological traumas and move on one day at a time. Sobriety is not always an easy route. I am very sure that by MacKensie sharing and being honest she has helped inspire many others to work towards sobriety. She is setting a good example. Kudos to her for her bravery. Many newly sober people avoid the immediate family members until they are a little stronger. It's hard to understand unless you have been through something similar. I think she has been judged too harshly and too quickly. We can not expect that those who have become famous somehow manage to miraculously undo their traumatic childhood experiences and heal themselves instantly into our fantasies of what perfect people should be like. My best wishes go to MacKensie for a continued brave recovery.
